Individual Placements
Poverty Relief Organization
Work with an organization that helps the poor find lasting answers to chronic poverty. The organization works with local people worldwide, helping them to improve their lives. Be a part of the process, helping with office administration, event support and fundraising.
Environmental Protection
Support an environmental protection agency with administrative tasks, data entry, design and editing, research projects, events coordination, painting, sewing, carpentry and much more. Volunteers can also work in areas of marketing, campaigns, policy, media, publications, finance and information systems. This organization defends the natural world and promotes peace focusing on climate change, forests, oceans, nuclear power, peace and other areas.
Community Health Care
Assist in areas from first aid to fundraising, care in the home to emergency response. Volunteers can also set up creativity projects, be trained to deliver first aid, humanitarian education and HIV awareness sessions, work with children with autism, and care for the elderly or people with disabilities. There are countless ways to help!
Educational Charity
This charity encourages young people to critically examine the world and to understand and support each other using film and new media technologies. They campaign for freedom from toil and the struggle to survive, to allow us all the opportunity to learn at the highest level, to exercise our creativity, advance new knowledge and impact society. Volunteers are needed in areas such as administration, film editing, investigation and journalism, marketing and public relations, fundraising and event marketing.
Music and Arts Charity
Steward at festival concerts and events, learn new skills, meet new people and experience some fantastic music. Help develop projects which support musicians and teachers in their practice,and that encourage those who make music and perform.
Art and Design Museum
Assist in many activities and departments within the museum, work at information desks to welcome visitors and answer any questions, as tour guides, and/or as escorts for those with disabilities. The museum provides training for volunteers. This museum is a world treasure house with collections of diversity, holding over 3,000 years worth of artefacts from the world's richest cultures.
Exhibition House
Welcome greeting visitors, informing them of the day's events, promoting future events, advising about the facitlities at the site and collecting feedback. Volunteers also contribute to many projects including education workshops, family and public events, escorting groups, and planning and preparation. This house is in the heart of London and hosts open-air concerts and films, contemporary art and design exhibitations, family workshops and free guided tours.
